Most of our observations of Jupiter show this area as a somewhat empty plain spot. It would be interesting to see if this really is the case or if there is more activity only visible at much higher resolutions.

    Why is the place called the Empty Spot? It would be great to find out a little more and possible find out what is going on with the two prominent white bands across Jupiter.
